Guilty Gear Strive: New trailer shows the second DLC character, Jack

When it comes to unique figures, then there are few fighting game rows that can be measured with Guilty Gear. One of these strange characters is Jack-O, which was recently playable in Guilty Gear Xrd.

Now Arc System Works Jack-o has also announced for the new Guilty Gear Strive (Buy Now), as a second DLC character to Goldlewis Dickinson. Since their appearance in XRD, however, a lot has happened on their gameplay. In the last offshoot, Jack-o was able to set up different houses, from which continuously small vassals flowed out, which then beat her opponent for her. The longer the houses survived, the stronger also their subordinates.

This is a very unique - and fun - playing style, but for your opponents this was more annoying. Due to the different houses, it was relatively easy to take over the overhand and almost automatically became stronger.

For Guilty Gear Strive, a lot has changed a lot to your gameplay and so it probably has three small vassals, with which they can interact. For example, you can shoot them like a kind of football on your opponent and use it in Combos.

To judge the trailer, it can also change between their two personalities, which is represented by their mask. This is probably a consequence of the plot of Guilty Gear Strive. Whether this affects your gameplay or is only cosmetic nature, from the trailer does not emphasize.

Jack-O is to be published on August 27, 2021, three more characters are planned for the first Season Pass. However, only one will be published this year.
