Guilty Gear Strive will miss in instant kills at launch

Guilty Gear Strive officially revealed his opening film and has entered early access, and the fans immediately noticed the absence of the mechanics of the Instant Kill brand of the series. The Kills times were also absent from the beta test of the game, but at this point we all had the impression that they would be added to the final version of the game. It seems that we were wrong. For those of you who are not aware, the instant removals are special ultimate techniques that players can activate after reaching a certain state in their voltage indicator. From there, you have until the blood pressure monitor is exhausted to activate the Instant Kill command, which is a KO in a position if it lands. However, you lose access to your blood pressure monitor for the rest of the turn if you can not get the moment Kill, making it a very risky bet.

Instant Kills is essentially the equivalent of fatalities of the Guilty Gear franchise, with warning that they usually do not use competitive play levels. This is the kind of movement Tape-oeil that you are trying to do dramatically while playing with friends. The fans base has become very attached over the years, so that the flagrant absence of Instant Kills in Strive has left many dissatisfied fans. However, given the impact of the pandemic on the development of Guilty Gear Strive, it is possible that Instant Kills is added in the future.

Many games have come out in an incomplete state since the beginning of the pandemic, waiting for post-launch patches and DLCs to complete the versions, so Instant Kills is always on the table. Even if they are not added later, the absence of Instant Kills does not necessarily mean that Guilty Gear Strive is no longer Guilty Gear. After all, Guilty Gear's essence is not contained in a single mechanism - it is contained in wild character designs and the fierce rock band.

Guilty Gear Strive will be available on June 11, 2021 on PC, PS4 and PS5.
