Wow Patch 9.1.5: What happens to the old home equipment? Developer clarify

As we have reported before a while, the WOW developers replace the starting equipment of newly created characters in Patch 9.1.5 with a number of other arms sets. But what was not quite clear so far concerned the question of whether the old starter items will no longer be available in the game. But that s exactly what Blizzard has said in the meantime.

White equipment can not be transmogrified - what to do?

Basically, it would not be a big problem that new characters would get other starter equipment, because finally there is in WOW (Buy now 14.99 €) Yes Transmogrification, with which we can transfer the optics of certain items to other items from our collection. The problem: The starting equipment is white Gear, which can not be transmogrified and thus does not show up in our wardrobe as soon as we have collected it once.

The hook on the thing: When and how exactly the developers want to make the old items available, they have not betrayed so far. So if you really want to make sure that you can still use the earlier starter equipment with patch 9.1.5, you must create the corresponding characters before the release of the update on 02.
