Final Fantasy XIV Seal Rock (Seize) PvP

Seal Rock is one of four PVP cards for 72 people on the front line in Final Fantasy XIV. Having divided the players into three teams of 24 people, the goal of Seal Rock is to collect data from Allagan Tomeliths - large structures that are periodically activated for capture.

As PVP changes introduced to the 6.1 Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker patch, PVP popularity has increased sharply, which led to the influx of new players. So now is the right time to study some strategies for Seal Rock or just refresh the mode in which you may not play much. Below we have created a PVP strategy guide for this PVP card.

Fundamentals of Rock forces

The goal of Seal Rock is to capture the Tomelites series of Alglagan, not allowing them to capture the enemy’s team. To do this, the player needs to interact with Tomelite for several seconds without a break. If the player is damaged or stops the transfer of information, the capture stops.

As soon as Tomelit is captured, your team will begin to score glasses, also known as “data restoration”. After a certain time, all data from Tomelita will be collected, and it is deactivated. Tomelites will be randomly activated during the match, their number will increase during the match. The longer the match, the more Tomelites will appear.

There are three types of Taxelites: rank s, a and b. Each of them gives a different amount of data and is active for a longer period of time, while the rank S is active for the longest, and the rank B is the least. The first team that will gain 800 extracted data will win the game.

Strategy

In general, as in many other PVP Frontline modes, killing warring players is not the best option for using your time. Instead, it is best to kill only players who are actively capturing Tomelite or trying to challenge you.

Move in the group and call the spawning Tomelites. To do this, carefully follow your card using m key . You can easily note the positions on the map by pressing ctrl+click with the right mouse button on the map. This accumulates the coordinates that you pressed into the chat panel. Then you can easily press enter to send these coordinates of your party or an alliance.

Try to capture Thundita closer to your spaun and fight with them halfway. If Tomelit is captured by the enemy, it is generally better not to dispute him. Instead, try to get ahead of them until the next spawning Tomelite. Start large -scale battles only when you think that you have an advantage over the enemy.

Nevertheless, it is always worth killing the backward and outside positions, as this deprives them of fighters for the next capture.

Extended tips

  • The murder of warring players generates Battle High. Battle High increases your damage and the effectiveness of treatment, which means that the more players you kill or help murder, the more damage you apply.
  • Battle High players are necessary to win in large -scale battles, since with an even number of players a team with a large number of Battle High players often wins.
  • Always look for Tomelita of a higher rank. If there are options between Taxelite the rank b and s, ignore the rank b and fight for the rank S!
  • It makes no sense to throw your life! You are more valuable alive than dead on the front line, so make sure that you will not be caught.
  • Try to attack enemies on horseback to get free control of the crowd. When attacking an equestrian enemy, Debuff “heavy” is superimposed on him, so it is easy to catch and kill him.
