Some fresh details on the Final Fantasy VII franchise
Japanese company Square Enix recently gave a series of interviews to various gaming publications about the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy. Twitter user xenosaga immediately translated them and posted significant moments.
According to Square Enix, in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, the developers will certainly show all the locations from the original version of the game in 1997 and will not cut anything. However, there is no guarantee that the plot will completely repeat the original.
There was a time when the developers regarded FFVII:R as a dulogy, but in the end settled on a trilogy.
The fans who suggested that the third part of the series will begin with the letter R were right.
The company has been considering remastering other games in the FFVII franchise (Dirge of Cerberus and Before Crisis), but nothing concrete has come of it yet.
In Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, there will be no story changes based on Final Fantasy VII Remake.
