Lionhead Studios: Developers to close was great mistake, says Microsoft
Microsoft today has all the episodes of the six-part documentation Power ON: the history of the Xbox published. You can watch these here.
The Roku also treats the Fable Studio Lion head. For this, Shannon Louis, General Manager Global Games Publishing at Microsoft said that the closure of the studio was one of the biggest masterpieces in the past. But you have also learned from it.
After the first Fable became a hit, Lion head Studios bought what good years were, so lofts.
But then Kine ct came into play during Fable 2. That never worked so well. Later, Fable came: The Journey, which was a passionate project for the people, but from the cornerstones wave, which had made the first two parts to Bloch.
Sarah Bond, Head of Game Creator Experiences and Ecosystem at Xbox said in addition in the documentation:
We took over Lion head in 2006 and closed in 2016. A few years later we have thought about this experience. What did we learn, and how can we not repeat the same mistakes?
Also, Xbox Chef Phil Spencer spoke about it and said:
You buy a studio for what it can now do, and your job is to help you speed up your work, and not to accelerate you what you do.
Louis wishes that Lion head is still a viable studio today.
